Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. Within three years she had been voted as the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw has married thrice.
