Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the United States. She is primarily an actress, but also an acrobat and songwriter. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She believes that she is a musician first and foremost. When she was nine years old of age, she began dabbling into music. The first time she began to study the field of music professionally at 12 years old. In 2013, she picked up songwriting and recorded her first album. From that moment on she's never been back. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots even though she was raised speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. In order to maintain it, she has learned Spanish and created songs using the language. "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish is an example of this. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor following the submission of a YouTube performance video. She received an impressive four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. While she auditioned initially as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week" She, along with three other female vocalists were put into a group for the rest of the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the Live show.
