Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese heritage, yet her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. Olivia was 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. The family now is run by her mom and stepfather. He's a United States Air Force soldier. While the family lived throughout the world, her principal home is Tokyo, Japan. In Japan, she appeared as an actress at local theater performances and then became an Japanese fashion model. Olivia was able to move from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had returned to America. United States to follow her dream to be an actress. She began her acting career by playing a minor part. It was then that her acting career took off when she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006).
