Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian musician and singer. Her albums span over 20 years. Her music is classified as folk and alternative rock but also has influences from punk funk hiphop and jazz. She is widely considered to be a feminist icon. Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own record label in the year 1990.
