Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for over 40 years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The same year, She made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. As an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made a name for herself as a successful director in several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her early years. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
