Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two shows she starred in on Roseanne. Fearing stress, her parents were not keen to let her pursue acting before she turned 18. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her high school, started to act in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry was able to land small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent following her graduation. Homesickness, however, led her to California and she returned to work in the stage. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway as a couple as part of The Other Place, in 2013. The father of her Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie alongside her in the year 2015. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal, starring her dad. That same year she played a young version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a younger version. The character was picked through an audition, even the fact that she had a deep relationship with the show.
